Just recently, playing a ranked game with some friends and down to the final three. Doing quite well, I found myself in a 2 vs 3 situation against a team that has lifeline. We had one down and the final being lifeline who had a gold bag. An enemy crypto used his Emp while the lifeline was using her ability to revive her teammate. Why did the revive not get canceled by the Crypto’s ultimate? It removes legend tech, but it didn’t work on the life line’s drone.
Lifeline is super strong, I agree, but I think her ability finally gives her the recognition she deserved. It’s strong, but it can be countered with other legend abilities, well-places ordinance, and coordinated team pushes. Her ability is finally one strong enough to make other teams play around it. I think it should stand the way it is because she finally feels like a true medic.
@Deliberus Grenades, Caustic Gas, Gibraltar Ultimate, Gibraltar Dome Push, it is 2 v 3 at that point because the revive takes 7 seconds, so you just full throttle push and team fire and you can come out on top. I’ve seen the revive stopped with smoke grenades from bangalore as well. Get creative so the dirty lifelines don’t beat you!
