@Peri_Longbow_plz Scenario 1: That's pretty much how the game is supposed to go. There's a reason why they added banners and banner timer.
Scenario 2: Just like in ranked you can leave after a certain amount of time(2 min 30 secs).
Scenario 3: You mute the player and play the game normally.
Trolls will troll regardless of what happens. But be honest with me how many times do you get a troll in this game and how many times do you get a clown that charges ahead gets killed and immediately leaves or get into a fight with another squad>one of your teammate goes down and immediately quits while you're still fighting the squad.

@Daze623 There are certain rounds in which you can simply see that there is no point in staying in the match. Specifically those in which your team acts dumb in an obvious way. And I don't want to be forced to stick around in an already unrewarding match, which I by the way already chose because I don't want to fight over a visual badge to show how much time I invest in the game. It's a casual game, after all.
Or just introduce a middle-ground between casual and ranked. "Regulated matches" with the same rules as ranked, but no ranks given. That way you don't have the pressure of a badge on you, while still benefiting from ranked mechanics.

- 5 years ago@Peri_Longbow_plz I like that you're dodging my question. If your team is "acting dumb" your team would be wiped out anyway so might as well wait for the proper ending instead of just prematurely leaving. There wouldn't be a need for middle ground if people actually played the game properly and to it's entirety.
- 5 years ago@Daze623 Sorry if I'm in some way not empowered in the ability to speak your language, but a question usually involves a question mark. Everything else is not a question to me. 🙂
But... Actually, you know what? Respawn should add this. They should actually - for once - add everything the community asks for. I think that would not just solve the assumption that they don't listen to the community, but I think that would make the community very happy if they bend to every wish.
So here is my personal idea for a leaving penalty: Every time you leave a game prematurely, regardless of whether you know the outcome or not, you will have to wait 10 minutes !actively! in the main menu. So quitting the game and being tabbed out will not make the timer progress.
I think this will encourage people to take the game seriously.- 5 years ago
@Peri_Longbow_plz Plus a little message screen should pop up if your team won the match informing you of this information. 😛
- 5 years ago@Peri_Longbow_plz Yes, there are certain rounds where there is no point in staying. But those scenarios are 1 out of 100. This won't affect you in any major way if you don't leave. If you leave consistently, this system will be a problem for you.
At the least, limit people from leaving in knocked state.
