Cheaters are worse than ever

There are no new players in this game. You're getting melted by old players on new accounts because that's the only way for them to get at players like us. If they play their main accounts then they get melted by cheaters in predator lobbies. This is how competitive games have worked since forever. At some point people stop playing the game and start making a game out of beating the matchmaker, and then suddenly everyone is playing on a low level account that makes them look like they just installed two days ago. But they sure don't play like they just installed two days ago.

I'm on console and the only real cheating that is obvious to me is what you are saying (smurf accounts where experienced players just stomp noobs... you're just a crap human if you do that).  Cronos users are also really obvious as their movement is absolutely unreal but that's rare.

beginning of a season when ranks reset, takes a little while for those better players to move up in rank and out of lower level lobbies. Communication with your teammates is a huge advantage too. Still though, they should not allow people to have more than one account.
