Matchmaking is broken! I just made a post about matchmaking. It does that time to time too and ask me, and i am like how the heck do they even know what i did not like about it since there is not box to write that. You are right doubt they would check it and doubt they check the ones sent out now.
I get stuck in pred lobbies, every round pinned to the right and the champion squad all have multiple pred badges. I made it to gold once and only cause i was avoiding pred lobbies but now they are letting high rankings in with the low. BROKEN
Just a comment (food for thought):
- Current ranked distribution shows that 50% of players who play ranked are above Gold 1 -> if you made it to the Gold (assuming Gold 4) once... you are not very good at the game (no offense just the fact), basically you should understand that every 2nd or even 2 out of 3 players (because many are good but don't play ranked at all) will kill you easily 9 out of 10 times or close to that
- Pred badge does not mean basically anything - given account could be other persons, purchased, boosted, Pred badge might be from seasons 17-19 where you could actually just invest ton of time and rat till Pred etc. All what matters if how player plays. If both are true = badge is there and player just farms the lobby, ok, but then you should question if he is legit good or just hacking as most
My point is - seeing Pred badge means nothing per se. I don't play pubs but when I do I usually struggle with the fact that my teammates are dead <1 min after landing and I have to play entire game 1 vs 3 enemies, otherwise never felt much pressure as half of the lobby will drop hot / same point and in many games if you drop further you spend like 10 min finding someone to fight actually or just join the crazy party and probably requeue within <5 min of gameplay.
Otherwise I still think MM is EBMM / broken and does not provide much more than easy kills for Masters/Preds/Smurfs
You really don’t get what I’m saying. It sounds like you wrote an essay just to tell me I’m not a good player because I only hit Gold once and to tell everyone you can 1v3 everyone under the sun! Just putting that in there proves your trying to insult. I never play ranked to get ranked. And at the same time you said rankings and Pred badges don’t matter, so your comment contradicts itself. I’ve been getting thrown into lobbies with top players nonstop in pubs. Same pool of 100 players again and again. Same teammates constantly, even though I solo queue. Lobby always pinned to the right side of player distribution chart. I don’t have time to grind RP or chase ranks. I run a couple businesses and stay busy, but I like playing Apex on the side and I’m not bad. I’ve got over 1000 wins. I only played ranked to get away from the constant try hard lobbies. I’m not on the level of someone who hit Pred three times and plays 8 hours a day. I’m talking players with Pred #7 #40 #100 badges stuff like that. That’s who I get matched with daily. My K/D is solid so halfway through every season, that matchmaking system throws me into those same lobbies over and over. Now when I go to ranked, it’s full of Preds and Masters too. Before the recent season split, they didn’t even allow Gold to play with higher ranks. Now they reversed it and let that fly again. I a decent player but not a try hard all day player and i am totally fine with that!
