@hayhor @@I watched podcast some months ago and one of the hosts was telling a story about being in the same team in a video game with a well known developer who at the time was working for one of the big names. The were discussing p2w. The game he was working on was p2w and everyone knows it and he stated they do whatever it takes to make the big spenders not lose a pvp match. We're talking people who drop upwards of 30k on a game here.
Apparently Destiny has the ability to throttle a player's in game performance and this was actually revealed in one of their TWABS many months ago. It was their suggestion for how they would handle cheating via hardware instead of banning players. This was eye opening to me and a little concerning that they have that kind of power over someone's account.
Now seeing how the world works and when you put 2 and 2 together...you can see how easily something like this can be done for reasons. I'm not making any claims and I haven't experienced it yet(how would I even know?) , since I don't spend much on cosmetics but it's interesting at least. And I actually won't hold it past anyone in this day and age. I'll take you at your word though, and that Pathfinder dude axs something pretty much said the same as you so I guess that's that then.

@hayhor @It's certainly not for everyone, the real fun is doing the dungeons with friends. It's a nice change of pace from the usual. But just to clarify the p2w stuff was from a totally different game, I just mentioned Destiny as an example since they stated publicly that they can influence someone's experience. If they can anyone can.
