A few thoughts I have when you say these things are you talking about ranked play? I apologize if that seems like a stupid question but I am assuming yes. Either way, my own personal experience is for example about 3-4 days ago I was playing and my first game (ranked) I saw it was a two people playing together one on console one on PC (so i know they are partied up) and in my experience the friend usually isn't good enough to make up for his friends lack of ability and obviously there are exceptions. But this game was the norm and his friend ran off solo and died and his friend tried to help but it was a horrible position and obviously outnumbered. We ended up doing ok maybe top 8ish? I have a point, my next game I had 2 guys who just ran thru people. We ended up having 13 or 14 total KP and i think we came in 2nd that game. I know for a fact if you play enough games you will get people who if i'm being polite are "unskilled" and you will also get people who could play on a semi pro team and everything in between.
Side Note:
I do wish Apex would make a Duos ranked mode. I don't think it would hurt the team aspect (2 people is still a team) and I think it would draw a lot of good attention.
I have 1500 hours in this game, its does not matter ranked or unranked. The game will never get fixed, it is bad all over. I have seen this game decline season after season.
Duos is the least played mode, so they will never do anything with duos.
New ranked is horrible, no dropping, you get a spot and you have teams around you that know where you are already. So a player that plays all the time and knows all the spots will run through the map.
They ruined the game. They will feed you good teammates time to time but you will have more crap games, not talking you win or lose. Win or lose does not matter to me. A bad game is where your teammates die and leave, or leave because they can see it is a crap lobby, or a teammate the ruins the game and runs off and refuses to res you, even toxic players (way to many of them i turned off that crap mic system).
A good game is where, you play and have a good game win or lose, but that requires people not leaving on drop. Fight the battle one or two dies you res the others or at least try to and do none of what i mentioned above. If you been playing as long as i have, you will see all this, maybe less for new payers IDK, they probably favor new players and hook you up with people like me to get you hooked. Someone who will stay till the end of the game and can hold their own. Probably why i get paired with lower level players over and over but yet i constantly get over 1k damage but my teammates will rarely ever. They want me to chaperone them but if if we die to a streamer 3 stack then good for their advertising.
