I understand that in Apex all the legends have different hitboxes, which is why the low profile and fortified traits were added to the game to create some sort of balance. However, I'm curious if skins, specifically the legendary ones, change a Legend's hitbox. I've heard a lot of complains recently over Pathfinder's new skin; "Plastic Fantastic" - that while it looks cool, it makes his hitbox larger than other skins like "War Machine" or "SRVN MRVN". On the contrary, I've heard plenty of praise regarding Caustic's "Necrosis" skin, because it supposedly gives the big guy a "smaller" hitbox. Is any of this true? Does a legend's skin affect it's hitbox?

@WingmannedbroThe only one I’ve seen do it is pathfinder but it’s very very minimal. It’s so minimal that you would not notice it and it’s not why you’re missing shots.You basically have to stand there and shoot around the edge of path. And his little grapple things above his shoulder do not register shots. In experienced players will miss headshots because of that.

@DarthValtrex I think the fact that pathfinder has a bean head doesn't help either...you can literally miss his head by a hairs width and it looks like you've connected at your end but you haven't.Request devs: inflate pathfinders noggin please. XD

@MandatoryIDtaghaha, how about Mirage, I feel like his heads hit box should be as big as his ego.... But it is satisfying to hit path in the noggin with a Kraber. Love it when they are lining up their shots with their sniper and you one tap them.

@WingmannedbroThe only one I’ve seen do it is pathfinder but it’s very very minimal. It’s so minimal that you would not notice it and it’s not why you’re missing shots.

@Edg810 No, but pathfinder doesn't have a head at all, so headshots are non-existant

Have the Devs ever addressed this? Before making this topic I would have answered the same thing u guys said however, this is a pretty big myth amongst most of the big streamer's communities. Even one of the apex data miners was claiming this as facts yesterday which is what prompted my doubt (I figured he would have more info than a casual like me). We already have (kinda) "pay to win" weapon skins (R9, PK, Wingman), but it just wouldn't make sense to have them for legends as well. Btw and before I forget, thanks for all the input guys.

Also, does this explain why sometimes you get no regs or is that actually just a server issue?

@Edg810 I don't know if any devs have addressed it, but no-regs and your bullets going through someone because their skin doesn't match the hit-box are two different things. No-regs usually give you audio and visual cues that you've hit the target client side, but the server hasn't recognized it as a hit leading to no damage actually being dealt.
