Does Gibby need a nerf?

Does Gibby need a nerf. Or is there some kind of glitch with his arm shield. Seems like when you go at him you take off arm shield. He puts it down and back up and it’s full strength again. Not sure but the character it’s self is way to buffed.

Originally I believe he was given all the armor and health buff because of the slowness of himself and caustic. Now they move as fast as everyone else with same buffs. Takes 2 people to knock him. With the doom shield as well that the cool down way to short. Maybe not understand character since I don’t play him to much but when I see that arm shield pop back up with full color after you tear it down. Makes me think something’s up with it. Thoughts?

    Yes he does need a nerf while

    • Lifeline - Rework because Gibby made her useless
    • Bloodhound - Hack Beacons, Scan now 20 second cooldown
    • Crypto - Hack Beacons and Ping Display Banners
    • Octane - Rework 
    • Revenant - Silence increased radius to about 8 meters, Dying as Shadow spawns you with 20-30 HP instead of 1 HP. Shadows can wall climb like event mode could.
    • Wattson - Fences do 15 damage, made it easier to see Inner and Outer Rings of her ultimate, remove Low Profile from her. 

    Needs buffs.

    Caustic and Wraith both need bug fixes. Caustic has issues where his gas flies around and still be there despite his team being dead. Wraith needs portal fixes to stop her teammates from getting stuck in a wall.

    @MrMuted Gib is a tank and thus SHOULD be harder to beam down tbh, instead of nerfing him and making this game a COD clone where everyone dies in two hits they should instead buff the other characters and bring them up to his level instead.

    He's now viable in pretty much every comp and has a lot of utility which can't be said about most other legends sadly.

    @Jem450R Dev’s thinking is ‘bigger characters need that buffed perk’ so in that same spirit devs should also think ‘if he loses weight, there’s no need for the perk’. I’m thinking like them now :P

    They’re not gonna take away his arm shield... or they should let arm shield give damage counter as well. Sick of fighting gib to lose and see I only did 50 damage while I broke his arm shield as well...

    Only nerf he needs is the arm shield needs a 60 second cool down after it’s broken. It is frustrating when a gibby that already gets 150 health for fortified, an extra 75 with arm shield and another 100 with gold or purple shields eats an entire mag from any weapon and lives. I mean that’s 325 damage right there just to knock him.

    @MrMuted No, Gibby, Wraith, and PF are all in good spots. Buffs now need to be shifted to the least played and underperforming Legends like Mirage to get them up to similar Power Levels of those three.
