- Thanks, feels like I should have more total damage on some of these rounds and thought that might be the reason. Guess I'm just that bad at times .lol
Damage dealt calculations are not accurate in this game. I played a round where we played caustic style trapping and I landed only 1 shot for 12 damage and post game it said 7. Lol
- Depending ok n what damage indicator you have on it may be showing you the total damage he has missing. That's probably why it showed 12 but end game said you had 7.
I was wondering this too. I did a lot of damage to shields, breaking them often, but at the end it only shows a total of about 100-190 damage dealt on average
I think it only counts when hitting stand up enemies. Yesterday I knocked down a guy (100 damage), the killed him (100 damage) and then I died. The after match status showed I did 100 damage flat. So maybe shield and down opponents won't count.
Similarly, kill score goes to the person who knocked down someone, not the player who actually killed when he was down (tested yesterday, also).
it seems to stop recording any stats on death. so thrown nades doping damage, downs or kill after death don't record.. if you down someone then get killed then the person you downed dies it doesn't look like it records that either
That's not true.... You can actually watch your damage count up after you die or a kill pop in.
Apex has glitches. One of which is it can't even count damage dealt correctly. I mean really how hard is that respawn, wtf! I just now played a game and I did over 1000 damage with the Kraber, no knocked down enemies they were all standing, and at the end of the game I had 494 damage, less than half! I hit with the kraber 8 times 2 of which were headshots and did another 300 or so damage with other weapons. Again WTF!!!!!!!

I'm assuming you have hit numbers turned on....
Let's say you get a flush Kraber headshot.....
Your in-game indicator will show you what it hit for, this case (and i don't remember exactly here) showing you you did 325(?) damage.
If the target you hit only had 1 HP left....the after screen will show you that you did 1 HP damage.
Think of it as "potential vs actual" damage
