Drop rank from higher IV to lower I

In Ranked people cannot go to lower ranks like from Platnum IV to Gold I .

  • @Necko19961 It is like that to stop people from going backwards on purpose. Unfortunately this doesnt work as people just make new accounts.
  • @ThatCryptoUser because you must be able to drop down the rank. I see so many people who are unskilled in Diamond IV and Platnum IV or they lost like 30 battles and not received RP points for those battles. Ranked should not be another mod for non-competitive play...

@hayhor I don't personally see why is that good, I only see negative sides of it. Respawn made tampon zone in any IV division if you enter that tampon zone you cannot escape when you solo queue. New accounts are always a problem in any game for many reasons.

Also people that downrank themselves just to feed that ego is going to be a problem either way , the issue is the way the rank system is set now it allows people that were lucky to get carried in 20 games out of maybe 500 to get form gold to plat 4 , and plat 4 being matched with diamond 4 is just destroying the damn experience for most of us (the solo quers , which are most of us i believe)

  • @Necko19961 You don't know that they're unskilled. They might just be having a bad day. If they made it this far, they deserve their spot.

@Necko19961 If you have played Fifa divisions/rivals you will see the negative in deranking. In that game players purposely forfeit games over and over to derank back to the lowest level so they can essentially stomp lower level players.

The bigger issue is that this is a team game and placement means more than anything. They can fix this issue by giving points for more than 5 kills/assists. Better players will escape the level 4s that dont care.
  • You can't purposly leave your game over and over in apex, you get the 10 minute timer that doesn't allow you to ( you could jump hot and do nothing and then wait the 2 minutes and then leave the game , but that would be about 5 minutes per game with the select screen and loading times and etc... its about 600rp between each rank so that means to lose 1 rank you need to quit for about 1,5-2 HOURS continuously... nobody in their right mind will sit in front of their computer for 6 hours straight to get from plat 1 to gold 1) , and also like i've said before, there are 5% of the whole community that are higher than platinum so there is a 95% chance of you not getting a player from there whenever you que up even if they ALL just derank on purpose, but I'm telling you now, if there is anyone that would derank on purpose.... it is going to be a very few people since it doesn't take nothing to get into masters/pred or even diamond for that matter.... its just  a bad choice

And for the guy saying maybe he had a bad day sure.. i've had bad days where i lost 600 rp in 1 day with no + ... i understand so let's do it like this , give the rewards of the highest rank achieved in that split/season even if they deranked into oblivion ... that would be proof that they got to a higher rank (Also for the love of god give us some decent rewards for ranked)]

One more thing ; Also this game is funny in a way, if you play in gold/plat/silver lobbies for to long when you get back to your normal lobbies you will be a potato ... go ahead try it , i played about 100 games on a smurf with some friends in bronze, and to play for a whole day and get back to d3 lobbies i was simply put IN THE WAY.

@ThatCryptoUser Since they made it this far, they should have the skill to keep it. Everyone knows how easy it is to reach platinum. And the difference between gold and plat lobbies is massive.
