Respawn is not going to reply here. EA CM's might.

No they have not given up.
They do have and host livestreams etc from time to time and I think the last one was a few days ago or last week.
They do not however have direct relations with the players on a day to day basis as that would be just to much.
You have also been informed by others in other posts as to the reasons why this is.
Provide feedback here and your feedback will be seen, however manage your expectations regarding a direct reply from EA/Respawn Devs.
I do not recall when and or where the livestream was, I think it was on Reddit, not sure, and I do not recall who mentioned it.
