EA help / report states explained

Hey.

I have been submitting different reports under EA web form -> then can see under "my cases" that those reports have different statuses, most common ones are:

  1. close
  2. no fix

Can someone explain / is there info what each of those mean?

I am especially baffled about reports of blunt rage botting players where case eventually states "no fix"...like really that means that someone looked at rage botting footage that is just bluntly visible to anyone yet did not take any action?

  • Finally got some answers.

Basically if there is no game pop up = there is no banned player. Yeeey :)

That's incorrect. This is saying IF you are informed of an action taken, it would be done in that manner. Not that you're only told if an action is taken.

That is the only way you'd be notified about a cheater as we won't discuss other people's accounts, but that notification is not always sent out for every report, nor is a notification only sent when someone is actually banned.

People are banned all the time without the pop-ups being sent to every person that may have reported.
