Emulator for controller (PC)

Hello, I am new at Apex Legends. I Use PC. My contoller is not working in Apex Legends. I used emulator for my controller an it starts to work. Is it legal? Can I get banned because of emulator for controller?

ap-northeast-1 server = A Cheater's hive
This server is definitely filled with a lot of cheaters. Most of them are those that move so erratically that's it's essentially hard to hit them and also their recoil is unbelievable.
