There would be no difference to me as an end user. If I build a machine for a company putting widgets together and 1 of the purchased parts that goes into my machines is faulty I am culpable for the replacing of the purchased part period.
My end customer wants a machine that does what it is advertised to do.
I play a game with a lag and connection issue that is to date unresolved. It matters little to me if the parent company or the producer of said game are the issue. The issue exists and ruins parts of the game. I consider the fault to be with both parties at this point. They have had a year to sort it out. Funny thing is SW battle front is on EA servers I played 1 & 2 and never had any issues. Same thing for TF2. Only Apex.
But I am done siderailing the main convo, you guys carry on about overpriced heirlooms and skins.

@mastiffslingerI don't mind encouraging the game designers since the connectivity issues (which I didn't experience since the launch of S4, knock on wood) aren't really Respawn's fault, they're at the mercy of EA.
Edit* We can side rail this one, it was meant as a joke, it's a light hearten thread, meant to alleviate tension.
- @mastiffslinger you bought the vehicle, not the road. You can't blame the car maker for the holes in the asphalt. It's the road operator's obligation to pay for the car parts that break because of road problems and poor quality.
As for servers, they're certainly not Respawn's. Apex happens on Google Cloud, AWS and Microsoft Azure: https://www.datacenterdynamics.com/en/opinions/apex-legends-how-video-game-supported-million-concurrent-players-its-second-day/ - @MandatoryIDtag My wallet stays closed until they sell Lifeline Blossom and Painkiller skins. And the cool Bangalore one from S1. They have tons of old skins people would throw money at them for.....yet they refuse to sell them.
Keep making new looks, but won't sell me old ones I desire. Really grinds my gears. To be more "on topic": Xpensive skinz turk err jerbs!
On a more serious note, did anyone consider the impact of skins on this game? For example, the fact that the selection screen needs to have like 36 high res skins and intro animations cached so that there's no noticeable delay? No wonder it freezes so often... Another fact: a match needs to support up to 60 different legend skins and 120 different weapon skins. No surprise that Bangalore disappeared a few times.
I'd like to see bandwidth measurements the next time there is a dummy ltm, or with a lobby where all players use the default legend skins. Really curious if the issue rates would change or not, but I have a hunch they'd drop.
Did some quick math and I wouldn't mind paying $120-$144 if I was to purchase everything at once.
Ya know, save some $ for getting everything vs paying $7 for 1 item.
$120-$144 prices the items at 500-600 Apex coins, seems fair.
A little cost saving tip on future events for you guys aswell, save all your mets for heirloom events, purchase as many of the epic skins as you can with metals and you save yourself a fortune in boxes.
Assuming of course you're getting the heirloom.

Diabo immortal is an outsourced spin off for china's market and has not even released yet, and WC3 is indeed somewhat of a mess up. But not as much as disgruntled fans argue. It's the same campaigns in a distinctly better looking graphic while staying true enough to appear with similar aesthetics of the original game.
Gamers assumed promises that were never actually made, and seriously though they would recreate all new cinematics. The promise for some newly changed dialog was indeed unfulfilled but whatever.
Reforged was obviously going to be a semi remade game of the original and that's what it actually was, minus the cinematics.
All of the hubbub doesn't change the fact that WoW crams out massive amount of content over time, is easily the largest game, and WoW players actually see returns and value for the money they spend, no matter how hard you or anyone else pretends otherwise.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming out next month. On the 11th if I recall right.
Free demo is available to download and play right now, it's the demo that was available last E3. Then again... Playstation exclusive of course, so you're out of luck without a PS.
From what i played seems nice, i'm probably going to buy it in the hopes that there will be a hard mode playthrough (normal in the demo was already pretty harsh)

@WingmannedbroYeah those promises were made. The blizzcon 2018 campaign trailer is still on the game's wesbsite lol.
One of the biggest lies of game industry.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwG5ct900B0
So pls pull your tongue out it wasn't made for that anyway.
