@sweetlou1010 For this error, this had seemed to help players who had it, (along with the 0x8000001 error):
- Clear Game/Launcher Cache:
- EA App
- Steam
- Epic Games
Note: Steam doesn't exactly have a way to clear the game's cache, only a way to clear the download cache, but it might help.
- Repair your system's files:
- Open the Command Prompt in administrator mode
- Type, "DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" (without the quotes), and wait for it to finish.
Note: DISM stands for "Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool". It often repairs Microsoft related files, such as issues with Window apps. Some problems with the next file checker can only be fixed after running this one first.
- Now type, "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes), and wait for it to finish.
Note: sfc stands for "System File Checker". This one will repair system files, (such as important Windows drivers).
- Lastly, restart your PC.
- Other possible fixes:
- Disabling any programs that may interfere with Apex Legends.
- If you use AMD Software꞉ Adrenalin, try reinstalling it.

same issue after trying to repair system files.
I'm thinking it has something to do with my version of easy anti-cheat, or there's an application running on my computer causing the easy anti cheat to not proceed with loading the game and I cannot figure out which application it is. extremely frustrating.
Im using EA app but had the same problem with Steam
My controller is unplugged and I don't have auto hot key or ds4

When you tried the repair did you run both repair tools and then restarted your PC, or did you only try one repair command?
You may also need to do a virus scan and I would check for any update, be it for Windows, a driver, etc.I tried everything but doesn't work. It shows me every time i try to open Apex the error : 0x800002
