@Koochi-QI’m starting a Quitters Anonymous meeting. Together we can work through our bad gaming behaviors, if you’re willing to admit you are powerless over your leaver addiction. Meetings are held every Monday at 7:00PM, free coffee!
- 6 years ago@DarthValtrex Are we meant to leave this anonymous? And at what 7:00? 7:00 AM AEST? 7:00 AM PT? Where will this be? Who's paying for the coffee? Will we be socially distancing? Can I not have coffee? Will there be gluten free coffee for those who need it? Will there be gluten coffee for those who need it? Will the coffee be blue? What is the policy on support ferrets? What is the policy on byo food? What type of coffee is it? What colour is the sky? How do airplanes work? Why is pi infinite? And probably the most important question, why hasn't pathfinder's grapple been nerfed yet?
- 6 years ago@Koochi-Q Almost lvl 100 and based on my experience landing early or on high profile gets me killed immediately most of the time whereas landing late or on low profile areas does the exact opposite

I’m using your earlier statement to further my point.
You being lvl 100 explains your point of view splendidly. Alot of low lvl or passive players have the same feeling, weirdly enough.
Landing late isn’t smart, especially not in high loot, small locals or places with multiple teams. I’ll tell you why. If you land late (depending in what location out of the 3 I mentioned above) you can either have no weapons, team(s) approaching or a combo of both.
If you land in high loot places and land late... I describe landing late as being 1-3 seconds later than the first ‘lander’, but lets say 5-10 in your case, that’s 5-10 seconds less you can loot partly because you may encounter them.
In small local this is even more so the case because you, or they for that matter, don’t have alot of hiding places.
With multiple teams this just means multiple buildings will have been raided and you have the scraps. These scenarios aren’t even considering players like me who hear someone diving in, rushing outside, pointing their weapons of mass destruction and shoot you before you even land or shoot you right after. <—- this is one of the main reasons that ppl don’t (want to) land late.
You’re more at risk of dying sooner if you land later. Now maybe so far it helped you (honestly can’t and won’t believe that), but it’s not a good tactic.
The reason a couple have commented on your playstyle with a ‘wtf?’ reply is that these guys have spend hundreds upon hundreds and some even in the thousand(s) of hours so they know (in theory) more about the game than you do.
This is not a slam against you. You do what works for you, but if you play with randoms, you can be assured that if you flew past train yard for example and are already at fracture and you jump back to train yard, you’re either gonna have teammates D/C’ing, flying solo somewhere else or dying within 30 seconds.
@shadowninja5044 You should ask @DarthValtrex & @CrazyPlays54 XD
