Found the best ALC

So after months of constantly changing settings I have finally settled. These won't work for everyone but I am highly skilled and accurate on a controller so this is what works for me:

19:10 in the video settings helps simulate a 4:3 screen which stretches targets out, making them easier to hit. It may not matter but FOV is 96. I've also watched numerous videos on how to reduce PC input lag and they helped a bit. Hope someone finds this useful

  • Not sure what the point of extra pitch is.. It might help but i'll look into it. EDIT: Yeah it's definitely an extra feature I should take advantage of. I'll see if anyone else has a similar settings and try their extra pitch etc.

@LocustSniper yea it’s an extra feature which helps a lot. If you don’t want to give up fine control while still going fast while not having your thumbstick all the way to one side, it’s superb.

I’d dare say that the extra pitch is even more important that the normal speed. Especially with a lower response curve. If you can handle the twichiness, then it’ll feel amazing to snap to ppl when the situation requires it.

Most times tho, I suck with snapping. I can snap to one person but when I try another I get hindered by either the aim assist or the fact that I don’t really know how far I have to move the thumbstick 😅
  • Trying out your settings and they're really good. Mine felt good for a little while but they are too slow. With something like yours I just have so much control over what I do. I thought it was going to be too sensitive but it's actually really easy to control. It must be the low response curve or deadzone

@LocustSniper Good to hear. Yea the low response curve is definitely a thing of beauty, cause touch your stick (juveniles may laugh now, you’re forgiven) and you will see your character move (depending how low your deadzone is of course).

I keep increasing my (ads)pitch/(ads)yaw tho cause I never find it good enough. So I’d say when you get too comfortable, just up those by 5-10 and if you want even finer tuning without upping yaw or pitch, go down into the optic settings and up those.

Warning for that tho, even going from 1.1 to 1.2 feels like a monumental change somehow when your other stats like pitch/yaw are that high xD. The control feels amazing but I just feel so... sluggish when using it cause it goes faster than my finger wil allow to catch up.

I tried yours out. Had to mess with it a bit, because some of your setting made me feel like Tweak from South Park, man (some twitchy stuff lol).

All in all though, after I adjusted it a bit, it does feel pretty nice. My biggest concern was that regular turn speed would be pretty nuts. I thought hip firing would feel like a garden hose at full blast. Surprisingly though, it's not too bad, as long as you don't crank on the stick like you're trying to rip it out of the controller, it's pretty good.

It's a little delicate (sensitive?) overall But it does feel pretty good for me. Not sure how long I'll stick with it. But it can't be any worse than anything else I've tried on this game (spoiler: I've tried a lot of settings. *A* *LOT*. Too many to even count anymore lol)

@JonStriker126 Haha nothing wrong with being a young strappin’ thundercat like good ol’ Tweak. When he goes full blast, he is unstoppable.

Fundamentally my rule in games is: if I can’t do a full 360 when in a jump, the setting is too low. That is for regular AI. Apex being what it is, this rule was still much too slow (dunno at what values (hipfire and ads) you could do the 360s but it was at much lower values. So I decided to play with extra turn and base values and being better at aim control close range hipfiring, the extra turn was pretty useful when needing a fast turn while the base value was good at a high setting combined with deadzone and response curve to follow the subtlest of movements.

I have not found the right values for myself yet cause in this game I need the AA, but sometimes that thing just throws off my aim... so I’m still searching for the right value where the AA is still felt, but where it doesn’t seem to ‘power down’ my aim. If I found it, I’ll let you guys know xD
