FoV 120 allowed in tournaments
Hello! I know I can set the FoV to 120, by changing the parameter cl_fovScale "1.55" the profile.cfg file and other settings in the autoexec.cfg, even if the max FoV you can set in the game setting...

I would not touch the config files outside the parameters allowed by the in game settings.

This type of question was raised back when some players used the config files to remove muzzle flash.
It was controversial back then, but as far as I remember Respawn did not state anything officially. However, they removed/reduced muzzle flash on a few guns.
I think your best bet would be to contact EA directly.
