funny story, I was technically "banned" from apex for a while then unbanned.

everything's all good now. long story short, don't do a charge back out of emotion, switch your account region to Belgium, and don't rage refund like i did. it took me a while to get it all sorted out. why did I do it in the first place you ask? the genesis update broke the game for me and after a while, decided to ask ea for a refund of $20 us dollars. I  didn't get a response so I went to paypal to escalate. after I won, I got banned the next day. told ea support the story of why I did what I did, they looked into it, and then unbanned me after I was able to get the game running again good again. I'm thankful the tos team was willing to look past the chargeback cause I definitely learned my lesson from all of this.

    That's great to hear.  It's really hard to be calm and patient when you feel like you're being stonewalled by a faceless corporation, and very easy to be hasty so that you feel like you have any control of the situation.
