Fuse hyper jump???

I just got done playing with someone who was Fuse and i noticed through out the match he kept jumping distances i had never seen Fuse be able to come close to. it was sort of like he had launched off an octane jump pad, but it wasn't that, and it seemed to have a small explosion at the point of launching.

Is this a thing? If so, how did he do it?
