@W3stminst3rI'm encountering the same issue almost every single match. I take so much damage so quickly. Even when I shoot at an enemy first, as I'm damaging them, they'll flip around and get me down to 25 health after I broke their shields before they even start returning fire.
I have gotten in the habit of after shooting a clip, or even less, moving and assuming that I took damage. Even if I don't see them turn around, or return fire.
There's a few possibilities going on. Maybe people are cheating, massively manipulating the network, which I've seen people tank the third circle for several seconds with like 10 hp. Their damage received is being paused until they deal damage. Bad networking by design, Respawn said they tried to balance it between people with good networks and awful ones, you know for sales.
All I know is that it feels WAY OFF. I move constantly, reposition, and I have decent movement. Yet people just beam me all the time like I'm standing still. I've seen characters get stuck in one spot like how lag switches used to look.
I don't understand how I can win one round with 4k damage, and like 15 kills, but then some rounds everyone just seems to know where I am with pixel precision.
