@DarthValtrex placement RP imho is just redundant tbh. I do understand needing to reward 3rd,2nd and 1st place but anything else is just weird. It's like a participation reward or something. You don't need to reward survival in a BR game because survival is the main goal of the game anyway.They should reward people who get into a fight and win. Rewards should always come with risk the bigger the risk the better the reward.
@Daze623The one issue i see with this is that it would definitely encourage hot dropping amongst other things. I'd also see an issue with it if you drop to a slow area and don't bump into anyone until top 3.. What are you supposed to do for RP/KP?
I don't know what the solution is honestly. But there are far too many people in Platinum+ who do not belong there.

I agree but I think that would only be a case at the start. Once people understand that it's not really worth relying too much on luck people will slowly spread out.

That's why people need to be more strategic with their drop location and rotation. If you drop too far you might as well go next game.
The other thing though is this is definitely gonna encourage third partying more. And I don't know if that's good or bad.- @Daze623 in games like overwatch people abuse rank demotion and lose on purpose which brings other people down with them.
if you want to have rank demotion then you pay money cash for the privilege 20 dollars or so. also pay for rank promotion 20 dollars or so. thats the best way, this way if your getting paired with dummies you just pay to get to the rank you want.
