I mean my aim was on point, is it my fault that the RNG was against me and there was no "extended mag"?
- 7 years agoYou shredded them, though: he had no armour left. I'd argue you were extremely close to killing them

Yes but it's a bit silly for a machine gun to have 18 bullets per magazine and to rely solely on RNG to find extended magz.

No it is your fault you don’t aim for headshots body shots is not aim on point in my opinion but that is just the way I see it

No, you just got unlucky and that's just what happens sometimes, there are things that you can do about that though, you should dip behind cover every time you reload and pop back out each time you are done so they don't have time to shoot you with your pants down, you will see shotgunners doing this each time they need to use the lever on the peacekeeper.
- 7 years agoI agree longer ttk favors the player with better aim. However the player with better aim already has that advantage.
I can see how this (seemingly very long compared to other BR’s TTK) is frustrating for people. Hit a player 10x or more with a lower dmg weapon, just to watch him get away. Then you find him healed, and jump shotty coming your way.
Maybe some compromise will come in the future regarding TTK. I personally feel it’s long enough that even with a nerf (say 5% less protection from armor) TTK would still feel nice and long.- 7 years ago
As I say in the title of my post, I dont mind the long time to kill as long as I dont have to reload all the time. You tube is full of videos saying that you need 2-3 clips to kill someone and some call Apex a reload simulator.
In solos(when they come in play) Im sure that long time to kill will reward good aim and it will be great. But for now, long time to kill rewards bad players who wait for their teams to save them.

LOL
Try Aiming, "half the time to kill or double magazine size" try "double your accuracy"
1. Use the right gun. If you're using an R-99 at 100m OR a longbow at 5m you're doing it wrong.
2. Try using ADS so you have a smaller weapon spread
3. Stocks and Barrel stabilizers are a thing...
4. You can already get larger magazine sizes.
5. Aim at the upper chest so that some of the spread/recoil will connect as a headshot
6. Practice and get used to the bullet drop and velocity.
7. Try comboing your weapons (switching between them) Just do 150 to a guy with purple shield? Switch to an SMG, Shotgun or even pistol (all of which have really fast weapon switch speed) and finish them off
8. Stop holding down / spamming fire and take time to line up your shots
Literally every non-pistol weapon in the game is capable of 1 mag/clipping a Purple shield player to the body WITHOUT the extended magazine attachment...
TTK in this game is perfectly fine for the vast majority of the weapons.

Nope. High TTK, slow character movespeed, and small mag sizes makes playing as a solo player pretty much impossible.
You should know that the bulk of any game's playerbase are solo players. We'll leave right after the initial launch hype has worn off, as usual. This game will become another niche title like Overwatch is now, only played by a few premade teams.

I know what you mean "solo players", I like going solo too. Of course in other games even when I go solo I can help my team in many ways. Here in this game there is no point of advancing without your team, its useless to do solo plays.
Teamplay is great when its not forced. People that play as a team have more chances than others. In Apex teamplay is forced, so playing in a team doesnt give you any extra advantage.Everybody has to play close to their team, so even bad players become "good" even if they dont know it. They say "I love this game" , when in reality they are just bad players that this game made them play with their team and helps them stay alive.
I start to like it tho , its not a bad game. It is just very different when a game forces you to do stuff. It doesn't add to a game , it subtracts.
