I remember that the release trailer dropped out of nowhere. There was a certain energy going around and there was supposed to be a live stream about an upcoming Respawn game.
The style, the music and the legends just sold it to me. And the best part was that instead of waiting half a year, you could already download the game right then!
Amazing that it is still going strong after 3 years.
@Cheese9Manyeah right, you mean 3 years of bad servers, no audio, and cheaters everywhere especially on console.
@maximas1986 @DYSPROssium I still remember hating this game so much in season 1 just because I can’t kill anyone, overwhelmed by the number of legends that I need to know and all other mechanics. Can’t even imagine how a genuine noob can start playing this game now after 12 seasons with the amount of stuff you need to learn. The firing range and the bare bones tutorial doesn’t help with that at all. But once I won my first my game with my friends, I was forever hooked. I remember after seeing the champion screen for the first time I was screaming into the mic hyped with my 2 kill game. LMAO.
