Happy Friday Legends and Happy B-Day EA

Happy Friday to the whole EA gamming community.

With that said tomorrow May 27th is the day the EA turns 41 years old. That is really great. I mean in 1982 those of us that were around were playing on Atari and commodore Vic 20's.

You know Pong, Tank, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger and the like,. Those were the days, the dawn of gamming.

EA was Created by Trip Hawkins and has developed and produced many great games:

Axis Assassin, Worms, The Bards Tale, Skate or Die, John Madden Football, Sim City, Ultima Online, Need for Speed, Dungeon Keeper, Medal of Honor, Battlefield, Dead Space, Titanfall, Battlefront and Apex Legends to name but a very minor and small amount of games that they have made or made possible.

With that I would like to just say thank you to Trip Hawkins, his successors and all of EA for giving us great games.

Happy 41st Birthday EA and I hope we can share another 41 years together.

Gamer's just keep gamming.

@hayhoryea, the amount of effort put into the games, just look at those teams in comparison ... back then it was a handful of people working on a title now its an army of people.
In the early days it didnt take much to impress the audience ... now you have to give an arm and a leg to make them go "wow"

@r1ggedgame Yep and when it's only a handful of people working on something it is much easier to ensure quality.

In '82 I was in high school and definitely not a gamer. Although my older brother had a Vic 20 and we both played Jupiter Lander. It would be another 19 years before I started gaming in earnest. Still not sure if it was the dumbest or most fun thing I ever did. Maybe a little of both?

Or you can buy an EA yearly AAA update to Madden, Fifa, NHL, etc., for 90 euros.

Anyway, Mastertronic games cost £1.99. Shouldn't really strain most households. And they had better music than most modern games anyway.
