hidusbf is allowed?

Question

I am playing the PC version of ApexLegends with a PlayStation controller.
I have found that using the software hidusbf, I can change the USB polling rate and reduce the input delay of the controller.
Is it against the terms and conditions to use this software?

I'm not familiar with this software. On face value it seems relatively benign, but I can't give any guarantees;. Anything that alters input could be seen as an exploit, so it's probably best to avoid just in case.
