What do you guys prefer:
- Having a game with a really high kill count and high damage, but not taking home the win
- Winning a game, but with maybe 0 - 2 kills
- Winning a game with high damage (over 1K) and maybe 3 - 4 kills?
One usually leads to the other. You get kills, you have a better chance to win. And I KNOW that's not always the case.
My preference is wins over kills but a mix (option 3 from OP) is always the best.
20 teams and last one standing is the winner so those most efficient at removing the others are generally more likely to be champions so kills and wins kind of go hand in hand.
If you spend the whole match looting to 3rd party the 2 teams at the end then in my experience it will rarely end up as a win as the others will be battle hardened and likely to have better loot from the squads they have wiped. (excluding my first diamond win with something like 57 damage and 1 kill but that was NO FUN at all).
Imo it's called predator for a reason.
Look for kills, analyse if the fight is advantageous and if so then go for it but if not then reposition or retreat to strike later.
