I am pretty sure that people are making new accounts to get around the whole sbmm thing. I came up against a 2 player squad who had 100 kills each but were on 7 and 4 kills already (first 10 minutes of the match) and absolutely destroyed the 3 of us. I then spectated them, they were exceptional players. No way were they level 20 (or whatever it said, I can't remember the exact number). Ego seems to drive most human behaviour.
On one hand smurfing is obviously shameless and doesn't require any skill, on the other hand can you really blame them for the awful matchmaking system that this game has right now? They probably just wanna have fun once and not go against Apex Predators Top 100.
The fact that people have to make a new account and drop down to lower tier adversaries is scummy and unsportsmanlike.
Even though I wish for bigger problems to be addressed. I can see where this issue can cause a bit of frustration.
it's not a mmorpg, there's no point in making alts, they people doing it will get bored in a day or 2 lol

@uViolatedTheLawI can blame them for abusing a system EVERYONE has to deal with. Circumventing that system because it is to hard or they are to beta to compete is no good excuse.
It also skews the "growth" numbers. People make new account after they learn a game to wipe their stats also. I have a buddy who are high tier players that all made smurf accounts to play with their lower tiered friends. Not sure what the reasoning is but I don't see a good one.
