@Ingeniekey Some (Aceu) would go so far as to not even consider battle royale as a sport, which I actually agree with - too many variables.
Try this - 2600 dpi with 0.5 in game sens. It's not even fair, you'll be shooting beams with an r9. Recoil control is a dream vs controller. Same edpi as Lululuvely give or take.

@Sand_spitterThese two are great streamers and they have great skill game wide, not just aiming. With a mouse you basically shoot only where you place your cursor, with controller you have all sorts of effects in play. The possibilities to ajust input sensitivity with a mouse, both in-game and with the mouse app is far superior as well.
Meanwhile with controller the input sensitivity is still maxed out at a fairly low sensitivity of 500.
The general movement is slowed down by how fast one can turn (yaw speed), so this alone affects the movement of the character as well. So its not only aiming, movement is limited as well.- 4 years ago@Ingeniekey Exactly, I play with custom settings and my yaw speed is maxed out, still feels slow because you gotta be careful of overshooting targets.
- hayhor4 years agoHero@Sand_spitter The issue with the BR has too many variable to be competitive is there are still dominant teams. If a BR was really about luck, you would have a tsm or nrg that usually are top 3 when they play an event.
- 4 years ago@hayhor Sure, but let's say everyone shoots the same gun with the same armour / hp would it still be the same outcome? That's equal. And rng is not.
And how do you measure unequal rng? You get lucky or you don't. It can happen 2 times in a row or 100 in theory. Something as little as the drop, gun, extended mag, or armour could decide everything.
It might mean they are better teams when they constantly win yes, but it's also a weird setting to begin with in any competitive event, meaning that things should always be equal in any competition to avoid the team winning early on with the best loot. Why should a 100m runner be given a head start or run on a different / better track in the same race?
Skill + best loot > Skill + bad loot in any 1v1 usually.- hayhor4 years agoHero@Sand_spitter I don't disagree with you but at the highest level they don't fight with bad loot. They all drop to their own POI and most have decent loot. They have to be good with different guns just in case they don't find the exact one they like best. This is why balancing is so critical of this game.
