How are the Pubs for you?

Am I the only one who is non stop in ALGS lobbies? Every single pub game is like that, and that graphic shows it correctly white rectangle showing skill gap is non stop 1 pixel wider than 'Your team' red line. I get killed by full pred squad every single game. Before I wrote this I died to one and specifially rank 500 and something killed me. I had level 127 teammate who didn't know how to turn around. I don't mind getting people who don't know how to play the game but why is that happening nonstop? That same anti-solo player experience killed Arenas for me. Imagine casually walking to your neighbourhood court and every single day Jokic and LeBron are there to 💩 on you. Why is Apex like that, what's the point of this toxic matchmaking? Is this some sort of unannounced anti smurf thing? I play on the same account which I made couple of days after the game's launch. I had maybe 5 games with 4k+ dmg at best.
