I think the player models just collide when they come out of the ship and who ever randomly gets pushed down gets a headstart.
Community Admin@Geryth I can't say I've noticed this, and I seem to usually land at the same time or slightly before my rivals. However it might have been happening without me noticing, I can't say I've looked much for early droppers. If anyone has a clip of this happening that would help a lot.
If @HenxFTW is right (and it sounds like the most likely case) then that's something to look into a bit more closely. Do you have a lot of lagyourself, or a generally solid connection?

I have noticed this too, I think it happends when alot of people jumps at the same time.
Should make 2 dropships and make so the first 2-3 second when releaseing from droppship you are able to go thru other players 🙂
