- @kingjjj If you were reported for communications, I believe EA pulls the internal chat logs for voice and text and looks at what transpired. If you said or typed something that violates ToS, and you were reported, there is a decent chance you will see an action taken against your account. It's always best to just report people, and not to engage with them (muting them is usually best). Keep a level head, and don't stoop to their level, as you can get banned as well. As to your original question, I believe they do use a "strike" system for lesser transgressions, but I don't know for sure, as I've never been banned from a video game, including Apex

One thing is for sure, voice chat in Apex Legends is not moderated or enforced, it’s a free for all. I have reported on many occasions toxic players utilizing voice chat, and the emails I get back from EA is that they reviewed my report and didn’t take action.
The system is flawed, hence abused heavily, and this is known from the playerbase.
EA suggest that you enable voice to text, which is the only workaround to reporting voice chat, even they, EA, insinuate a bad reporting system by asking you to take extra measures.
To answer the OP, 3 strike is all you get, and unlike the Xbox system which erases strikes after a period of good behavior, EA strikes don’t go away, ever.
Seeing as this thread is a bit old, I'll be locking it down. You're welcome to create a new thread about this topic if you choose to.
