@Axs5626Sxa5001 You can win just fine off pings. Most people who use mics don't even know how to communicate or are toxic. Like Daze said, if I'm with friends I'll use mic if needed, but otherwise ping all the way.

But in the higher MMR lobbies, you’re typically facing premades who are using coms. Teams open to communicating with each other have a pretty strong advantage over other teams— especially in a game like Apex where coordinating pushes/exits and rotations are a HUGE facet of the game.- @Axs5626Sxa5001 But you also realize that not all higher skilled players have the same mindset. What I'm saying is if a player was toxic on mic when they started the game, & they make their way to higher skilled lobbies, do you think their toxicity is instantly going to go away & they'll communicate maturely & rationally?
I disagree. Here’s my list:
Pings > nothing > Comms > toxicity
Premade > Randoms
Solo-play > Teamplay
At least until Diamond in old system and Plat in new one.
