I looked at my games played- Season 9- 182 games Season 10- 2 games Season 11- 3 games And I never played it again. If they tracked control and gun run I'd bet I have more matches in the two ltm...

@hayhorCurious when did these players start playing apex. Also, are they okay with not receiving updates anymore?
- @Cheese9Man I started playing in season 7, and I would like to see some updates to the mode, it does feel kind of neglected, bu that is no reason to have it be removed if that is what you are going for.
- @BigMacAttack8u Started hating it when Arenas ate away resources from BR. Glad they’re putting their eggs back to BR and the new modes though. Might be wrong but there’s nothing in store for arenas in the near future. Ranked arenas might go the way of the dodo first.
I started really getting into Apex in Season 9 (first Legend that tied back to Titanfall 2 for me) as well as the start of Arenas.
Because Arenas had no ranked and no leave penalty then, that is when I played most with my Kid. I could learn the guns in live fire exercises without having to loot while being shot at, and if one of us had to leave (work, dog, wife, etc) no harm no foul.
My play of the mode really dropped when they added the leaving Penalty with Ranked, but ALSO added it to unranked (unlike Unranked in BR).
Sorry, but when your crap matchmaking gives me a clearly unwinnable situation, I'm out. When it's round 3, we don't have a single kill, and the other team is all masters, I am not staying just to feed them kills for their stream.
Remove Ranked Arenas (no one cares), remove the leave penalty, and let it be the "warmup mode" it was meant to be again.
And with Ash in the games now it's not like she has time to manage ranked Arenas anyway.

My Lifetime BR games is about 2,370. My lifetime Arena games is 574, with Season 9 starting with 71, a high of 245 in Season 10, and this season all of 10 games.
- @Kyldenar I agree, slightly. I think Blisk should take over arenas. Then they could add some pieces of Titanfall maps, that way they don’t have to make something new every season. That way everyone is happy, and we then have more Titanfall in the game.
- @BigMacAttack8u Tried 3 games of unranked (had to do a third cause someone took the ______ of the day) and yeah, matchmaking is still crap.
I took the 10 minute penalty for leaving the 3rd early and logged out of the game. That's why no one plays it. You can just get trolled by some kid that started matchmaking then went to took a *, but claimed, "My game is lagging."
No it isn't you little *, we can clearly see you don't have that icon. You just sat out the first round to see how we would do.
I still think that this mode is a knee-* reaction to the popularity of Valorant. The legends’ abilities are not designed for the mode. We saw this as early as season 11 where Ash was passive-less in the mode. The leaked next set of legends would also not fit very well with arenas. This might have been a big LTM like Control forced to become a permanent mode to get a piece of the pie of that Valorant hype.
If you look at their schedule, it definitely fits into their huge LTM release schedule of a new big LTM every 2-3 seasons.

I have nothing against the people who love playing arenas but Respawn continues to say that we can’t have other modes permanently because it will divide the playerbase with too many modes. Sacrificing Ranked Arenas in exchange for a rotating LTM would be the best route for everyone in my opinion.
This weekly rotation of LTMs for the month of October will be a litmus test of that rotating LTM possibility.
