How to disable crossplay?

It shows the new setting but sort of blanked out and wont let me disable is everyone elses like this? What do i do to disable it?

@rockyboy1998 The fact its default gives pc players few easy kills for a while
@CCbathwater on xbox its greyed out and no way of disabling it for me

Hey, this is enabled/disabled outside of the game on Xbox.

  1. Go to your Xbox settings
  2. Scroll to Account and click on Privacy and Online Safety
  3. Click on Xbox Live Privacy
  4. Click on View Details and Customise
  5. Click on Communications and Multiplayer
  6. Change "You can play with people outside of Xbox Live" to block.

Console players will normally only play with console folks.

However, if they add a PC friend to their lobby and queue with that PC player, they'll go into a match with PC players.

For the Apex Tokens you can hover the cursor over the currency tab to see your Apex Token balance, this was changed in the patch. (edit: I was too slow on the edit)

    @EA_David that is just wrong, the fact that if they que PC with console, they will got o pc lobby, this needs to be removed from ranked! Would you agree? I qued solo last night, and had multiple times when someone on a PC and console qued together and I was the third PC guy in a ranked match. Regs, fine, but not ranked!!!!!

    @EA_David This does not turn off crossplay i am still being put in cross play lobbies this is dumb the servers could barely handle regular play much less cross play

    @EA_David When you change it they just stick you in queue with your 3 man team and thats it. No one else is ever found. Waited half an hour playing phone games with the boys. RIP apex.

    Didn’t work. Fake news.   I literally did it and still playing with PlayStation players.

      How can i disable crossplay on Steam - there is no such option anymore !

      I don't want to play with laggers !

    But then other games that use cross play won’t work! I just don’t want to play this game cross play! Not all games. Fix this I literally just started the game back up and I guess I won’t be starting at all now.....
