Other possible ideas? As path is a scout maybe he could get sniper perks? And bang holds the G7 maybe could get AR perks also.. Idk if they sound to OP or not but they would be picked more..
@DaleWWilson95 Octane and loba are currently undergoing work, I'd expect to see them receive more substantial buffs on s7 drop. Likely focused more heavily on loba as her pickrate has plummeted.
They've repeatedly nerfed pathfinder over s5...and seem quite happy with where he is at now seeing as they only buffed his passive out of necessity. I wouldn't expect to see much more on that front if i'm honest with you.
@DaleWWilson95 I get what you're saying they do need some work, pathfinder has been nerfed so heavily due to just how aggressive that shorter CD made his playstyle.
To clarify I'm not against the idea....i just don't think they'll make a u turn on this one, unless something in the game shifts drastically.
@S1mmOJ I hear you dude. Let's face it though, respawn are quite slow on development and then covid gave them the ultimate get out of jail free card for quite a while.
The buff will happen its just more a matter of when. 😛
loba buff? idk, i guess when she throws her bracelet then lands it takes too long to be able to throw it again. it takes 30 seconds or so, a long time.
besides that i guess she can use some sort of bloodhound scan? and the ability to shoot lasers out her eyes that kill with a look.
@MandatoryIDtag they've been talking about a major Octane rework since S4... every season they tease and every season they disappoint and he falls further and further behind.
If you truly believe these "Devs" (I use the term as loosely as possible) will ever seriously give Octane the attention he deserves then I'm sorry to say that I believe you to be misguided.
Just to be clear, before someone says "double jumping buff" ... for those players who high IQ'd jump pad placement this was a nerf and not a buff... Example: placing a jump pad next to a building zip line lift launched people off of the building, a great defence mechanism if you are on top of a building being rushed by a team - now they can double jump back to you and remove the advantage.
The fact is, and will ever remain, that they simply do not want him to be a high tier legend.... ever. They've pretty much admitted this on several occasions.
Any Octane mains reading this you have 2 choices:
1. Re-main and cry about lost stats.
2. Recognise when you're not wanted and quit.
I opted for the latter, and haven't logged in since day 1 of S6. A bit of a dirty protest 🙂
