i cant see origin friends on steam

having same issue, got any fix yet?

Imo the issue has been answered:

If you play Apex with Steam, you can only see your Origin friends when they are in the game/lobby.

But I can not even if they are in game

i also have this problem, but it wasn't always the case- both myself and my club's leader both appear offline even when we're online and playing- the only reason i can see them online is because they play on steam and they are properly shown online in steam and in game. 
Downloading this game in Origin allowed me to see only my steam friends,  not a single EA friend appeared, even those that were online and in game.
additionally, my origin has  my friends list hidden as it is reporting myself offline, even when i go offline and go online again.
if it were just steam i would kind of understand, but this is within the original origin launcher as  well

july 4 2023, just switched from ea app to steam after years of suffering. anyway this is still an issue, cant play with steam friends from ea app and vice versa 🙂 [SOLVED] right ??

Really wish you could see them when they are offline. Maybe a little fix would be nice

if you could read there are still people having issues. it's not about being online or not, they won't be shown at all. even if they are online and invite me in their lobby, they won't be shown in the friend list. period. i've had this issue for as long as i'm playing the game, people send me ingame friend requests and i accept them but they won't be shwon in my friend list. they can join my lobby and invite me into theirs but i can't see them. the only friends i can see are my steam friends and they don't even play apex !!
