I definitely understand your concern, and i'm not exactly happy at the thought of a teammate becoming a Diablo 3 lootgoblin for an enemy team.
But it can also go the other way, first win of the season was a game where i played mirage and my Loba random teammate went and pinged me a gold shield.
Against the last duo he died and got thirsted but I secured a win for us both with that gold (which gave the winning edge) and some crafty decoy plays.
Ok, I’m man enough to admit when I’m wrong. Not only have I NOT run into loot goblin Lobas. Loba is super handy to have around from what I’ve experienced so far. My post was pre-mature and over exaggerated. I’m wrong and I apologize.
Although I will say, Loba+Staycation=Nightmare Teammate. He was already a loot goblin. Now he just runs around like a loot vacuum while his team gets slaughtered then he jump drives away and lets his teams death boxes expire. It’s extremely frustrating to watch.
