Because the game is garbage, simple as that, I tried to ignore bad teammates and get enjoyment but it drains you, tried to 1v3 everyone but it drains you, tried to go with teammates seeing them rush ...

@MandatoryIDtag I was actually talking about the Darth guy, never conversed with him before but literally the only one here who says solo queueing is fine a lot, bet there used to be loads defending solo queueing but they probably were drained too and left.

I 100% solo queue and am fine with it. I have about 40 S6 wins, 150 altogether. You get highs and lows ... like last night ...
LOW - Us v them. We have brilliant sniping/single fire posititon with the enemy squad below with little cover and the ring pushing them to us. Intelligent play says snipe them when you can then drop to engage when you've hit them a few times. Caustic drops to engage 1 v 3 (duh) gets downed. Rev drops to engage 1 v 3 (dub) and revive Caustic, gets downed. I snipe but it's clear I ain't gonna win the 1 v 3 so I let the ring eat me. WHY DID YOU DROP DOWN!?!
HIGH - I am put in a squad of one. By creeping and sneaking I make it to Us v Them, I am hiding in the corner of one of the new WE buildings. At one point the others (Loba and Bang) come in, have a good look around but down spot me (because I have the darkest Rev skin available - no brainer). As the penultimate ring will push me outside I sneak past them and hide behind a box. They come out and look around for me, don't spot me. Loba is in my sights and I hand her 150 damage before she even knows what is going on. She fires back but I knock her, run around another box and reload. The Bang and me engage but she had purple shields to my white and she kills me. If I had found a purple or red shield while sneaking I would have won.
LOW - Octane is JM and wants to land on the supply ship. We (Rev and Gibby) say no. Octane ignores us and heads for it. He botches the landing and we fall onto the map. He engages 1 v 3 after 30 seconds, gets knocked, and quites. Thanks.
I have played 5,000 games, mostly solo queueing and its fine. The only people I've only played with are one player who got bored of Apex four months ago and another poster on here but he only plays past midnight, and that's too late for tired old me 🙂

  @EdwardDLuffy Had one high in about 10 matches last night, was a 3rd place where me and another had just under 2k damage each and we shared a good few kills, afterwards for a couple hours it was just painfully bad, that's why its dead IMO not worth the hassle and I have more patience than most being a bit older and that.

    @CAGOA34 Sorry to hear that. I play on the London server and it's mostly fine. First game today was a win with a Gibby & Caustic in which I got the final kill and I survived a 300m there-and-back edge of the ring detour to revive Caustic. Had a couple of 2nds too, but some trash teammates.
    
    Oh, and I'm 53 which I think makes me the second-oldest regular poster on here after @OldTreeCreeper who is 86.
