- @BGLILEVILSOLDIER No it will not.
Actually yes it does, many other people like me have got it resested
- DarthValtrex4 years agoHero (Retired)@BGLILEVILSOLDIER No it does not reset. This has been discussed and looked into.
The people who are claiming it does, simply don't know what they are talking about. The Events are completely separate from the guarantee. They are likely confused about what's going on and likely over estimating the number of standard apex packs they have purchased. If you buy the shards from this event it will have 0 impact on the counter for the guarantee. You are right if you re talking about all the events before the 2nd year anniversary event. I calculated how many packs I've opened and I should have got my second heirloom but I did not, I opened over 550 packs. Since I got the kunai from the event my regular packs for shards got reset. If you do your research, there are many other people who are having this issue right now and that 1 is me who has spent hundreds of dollars thinking that my packs were not reset. I did my math and I should have gotten it, 550 packs later I did not. Respawn needs to look into this, there are many other people who are experiencing the same.
- @DarthValtrex It does reset, there is a bug. Everyone knows about it. Chinese & Japanese apex community talking about this bug daily now. Everyone has gotten their heirloom progress resetted. Everyone that says 'It's just the same as the other events' have no idea what they are talking about. This event does NOT work like the other events, there are multiple reasons for this, but I don't need to explain them here because they are already known of and being spoken about AT THE MOMENT.
Ladies and gentlemen, there IS a BUG and your COUNTER WILL GET RESET if you buy the ACE event. Let's not forget that the developers had ALSO forgotten to switch the discount on the crafting materials for the event.
It was a human-made error which was fixed a few hours later. No big deal, we all make mistakes.
But apparently they ALSO made a mistake with the reset counter. They forgot that the heirloom shards come from a normal apex pack (not an event one)which means it has most likely resetted the progress once opened.
