Pathfinder mains are looking for a different main. The bracket could potentially be used in the same way as the grapple for combat. That's why they're comparing - the devs have pushed the pathy mains onto her so they buy her skins etc. Look at itemp, now maining loba. Walked right into the trap!
What's wrong with comparing bloodhound and crypto's Q? Such as which do you prefer?
Which is more useful in your opinion?
Have you killed more bloodhounds because the scan gave away their position, or more cryptos because they were in their drone?
Also the fact that enemies are highlighted in exactly the same way means you can totally compare them.
I can compare apples to oranges too because they're both fruit.
Pathfinder is inferior to almost everyone now. Newcomers have no incentive to play him, hes kind of reserved for people who already know how to make it work.
I rarely play as caustic, but if I die to him I think 'man I should play him more' not 'nerf him 133%!' No one was even asking for that much of a nerf anyway. These devs are looking at numbers way more than listening to the community. It's like we all have to scream the same thing at them over and over to be heard, which is what you're seeing. Fix pathy fix hitreg. You should want pathy fixed too because a big section of the player base is not happy.
Caustic can have 6 traps put at once. It would be like if they reduced this to 2 because they dont like how players are camping. If they did that to caustic, even tho I dont play as him, I'd be annoyed as hell because that's what he's designed for. I wouldn't gloat like im seeing people doing.
It's the most drastic nerf of one of the most played characters. It wasnt a balance move it was to shift the meta.
Loba is a good legend and probably the most well thought out in terms of legend design out of all the new ones we've had.
She is no pathfinder replacement though. The bracelet has a distinct lack of vertical range,so pathfinder outshines her on this front.
If anything i would say shes's more Octanes replacement , simply due to the fact that she's a loot goblins legend, a title previously held by the vast majority of Octane mains. 😛
Even her tactical behaves kind of similar to his jump pad in the sense they both have a predictable arc so you know exactly where both legends will be at point A and point B. Yes loba can cut that tactical short but i mean literally nobody is utilizing this.
Pathfinder still has good teamplay viability with his zipline, his grapple still makes for a good escape(when used correctly). As said by a previous poster....the problem is basically player based,you just have to be willing to work around his recently added flaws.
Also how is what i said absurd when they are a company running a business and literally every decision they make has financial incentives behind it?
