@Cheese9ManIt settled. We have to funnel our complaints through pros to get the changes we want 😂😂😂!
Specifically, we have to get these pro or streamer players significant others to get just as brutalized as the rest of us, then we can get some change because they will complain to the devs to make it easier on their SO.
Why it's gone off the highest in a squad and not the average (and frankly, I would do a weighted average where lower level/KDR/wins players count even less because of this game's brutal skill curve) all this time just boggles my mind.

Thank you, @Kyldenar, and thank you @Cheese9Man for addressing this. I didn't want to be the one to start, but I'm glad to take it up now. Rant inbound.
It isn't just outrageous that there's only a problem when a streamer says there's a problem. It's outrageous that a professional brings his wife to work and the entire workplace gets upended so neither of them gets their feelings hurt. I said, GD.
This has been a feature of every shooter I've ever played. If you're a scrub queueing with a god then prepare to have your a** handed to you. Dumbing down the lobby so a master's level twitch bomb can just roll over everyone else (without even needing the help of his scrub teammates) is not the answer. I know they said that's not what they're going to do, but that's developer-speak for "that's what we're going to do." What other way is there to do it?
If people of disparate skill levels, married or otherwise, need to play a game together, then for F's sake, play Animal Crossing and quit screwing up my game even worse than it already is.
Rant over.

- hayhor3 years agoHero@reconzero This is my other concern as well. Masters and above could use this to exploit lobbies.

Okay, rant not completely over.
I'll tell who I'm starting to feel kinda bad for in all this: the wife. That poor woman probably did nothing more than make an innocent comment to her husband along the lines of, "Wow, this game is incredibly hard." And then, because he goes off to Respawn with a gripe, and because they start tweeting about it, suddenly people like me think the wife is gaming's biggest Karen. And she is, though through no real fault of her own other than observing that the concept of fairness depends entirely on who's ox is being gored.
That, and I still can't believe that they think this is the only problem with matchmaking when it isn't even the biggest.
