Is antimicro considered cheating?

@Scarrletsix Also I'm not whining about auto aim I just added it as you were comparing m&k and controller. I don't really have issues dealing with controller players especially those that needs to add more crutch to their autoaim.

@Daze623 when i think about cheating i think about bannable stuff, cause cheating is something that should not be in the game. But yeah it might be a difference, but the other guy understood me to begin with except that he thought that i was banned or something KekW. But im one of those that agree that m&k and controller should not play against eachother in competetive since the both got different advantages, controller on close range and M&k on longrange. But what can we controller guys do when consoles are capped on a low fps and have tons of input delay x(

@Scarrletsix I would not use it in the firing range until we can a verified answer one way or the other.

I was simply saying you should wait until we get an answer before you use it.

@Scarrletsix I've seen some of that stuff, I play on console so I'm not hugely familiar with all the third party software for PC. We'll get an answer on the topic, just have to wait for a CM or one of the other Heroes who's more familiar with PC and what's okay and what is not.

The thing is, just because a video on youtube that state something is okay, or that you can get away with it, does not mean that it is. It's best to go by the TOS rules and what's outlined there as that's what we know won't trigger the anti-cheat.

@Scarrletsix What do you mean by antimicro? Are you gonna bind one key as forward movement? That seems fine, however I am not a controller player so IDK.

If you bind one tap to count as multiple taps, that's cheating.

I don't think you realize only a tiny percentage of PC players actually use tap strafe.

@Scarrletsix I think that if you intend to use third-party software to make the game smoother, or easier, it is unfair to most players who do not use third-party software. Even this third-party software may be officially allowed.

Secondly, you mentioned that everyone can access and use this third-party software. This is very vague, because cheating is also something that every player can access and do, just whether you want it or not.

I think you start from considering whether you will be banned due to the use of this software, rather than considering unfairness to other players. I think your starting point is already very problematic.

Yes, but i'm talking about mapping keys not god damn aimbot or wallhacks or strike packs.

That's my question if it's allowed or not, not ur opinion if u think it's unfair, cause i think that m&k that they got the possibility of doing this with just the scroll and i't doesn't take any effort i even know how to do it on m&k it's easy as hell, but i don't wanna switch it up just because i don't have a scroll on my controller so then im seeing if there is any other possibilities that are allowed.

But if u look further above, they are going to check it out and see if it's allowed or not. I'm not asking if someone think it's unfair cause thats totally irrlevant in this scenario. If so they should just nerf the spamming of scroll to do this to make it fair.... cause it's unfair :PPPPP

@BaldWraithSimp Yes i have asked my self that question cause the only solution to do this on controller is multiple taps.... But what im thinking is the scroll is pretty much easy multiple taps aswell, and it doesn't take any big effort to do it... It's very easy.

Yes, i know, but always looking for ways to keep up with movement, i know pretty much every movement mechanic and tricks thats possible in the game except from this one cause it's impossible to do it.

Mby they should just nerf it idk and remove the possibility to do this on m&k
