Is Apex Cash Grab

After a long time away from apex due to work i got to sit and play it this past month. i enjoyed it heck i missed the collection events. but 3 in 2 week and all being underwhelming my god this game when from the best non cash grab game to the most cash grab game ive ever played

"Cash grab" is a tricky expression. There's nothing in the store anyone needs to buy or anything that has any effect on the gameplay experience. With that in mind, it's their responsibility to charge the most that the traffic will bear. Yes, their responsibility to their shareholders. Do you think an iMac is priced in any other way? Or a Tesla? Or a gallon of milk or a box of Oreos? We can talk about the merits or the failings of late-stage capitalism, but in the end this is still the system in which we live. Can't blame Respawn for that. Or even EA. Much as I'd like to.
