And to make this situation even worse, now cheaters can play M&K with aim assist - an unbeatable combo.
I've seen a lot of these in Wildcard, even on PC – console players are looking for their PC friends and ruining our matches.
I've heard that these devices are only detectable on PC, but not on consoles. I wonder how much truth there is to that.
That would explain why these console "preds" on PC are never stoppable. I just wish I could turn off this **bleep** crossplay so I don't have to play with these dodgy console players. I'm so sick of them. I always die to a single clip from a console player.

Actually, the idea that these devices are only detectable on PC is a bit of a myth. Systems like Mousetrap in R6 Siege or Ricochet in CoD have proven that you can detect adapters even on consoles by analyzing input heuristics - like the lack of analog movement (WASD is 0 or 100%) and the 'too perfect' micro-adjustments of a mouse that a thumbstick literally can't replicate.
The real problem isn't the platform, it's the 'arms race' between devs and adapter manufacturers. Even when Sony blocks them (like they did with Cronus earlier this year), the adapter devs just push a firmware update a few days later. Those 'unstoppable' console players aren't invisible to detection; it’s just that most devs are still too hesitant to drop the ban hammer as aggressively as they should. We're all in the same boat, fighting against 'simulated' input
At this point, the only logical solution is input-based matchmaking. Players using controllers (or adapters mimicking them) should stay in their own lobbies. An average MnK player stands zero chance against the consistency of AA, especially when combined with these devices.
And honestly, I don’t even want to hear about 'tap-strafing' or movement tech. I’m 35, not 15. My fingers aren't fast enough to pull off crazy acrobatics just to survive an Octane stimming at me with a fully loaded R-99.
To top it all off, the servers are a complete disaster. It's like the devs don't even know that every match starts with 5 minutes of lag and double ping for everyone. Trying to track a controller player through server jitters while they have a software-assisted aim is a losing battle. It’s just not a fair fight anymore

I don't know how this detection works, considering there are people (especially on consoles in PC lobby) who kill everyone with a single magazine every time, never making a mistake.
It's technically impossible to have 100% perfect aim every time.
