@Banzai3819 Exactly why I have spent $0 on this event. Im not going to spend money on a game I cant play correctly.

    Hi, thanks for the post, I know there's a lot of frustration right now. 
     
    IHi, just to addree your first point, but we have a bug tracked for the start of match/character select issues, we're aware it's a big issue: https://trello.com/c/qED1VnsS/255-freezing-just-before-or-after-legend-select

    Unfortunately swapping poses doesn't seem to fix this issue 100%, and there are a lot of the time animated poses won't have any impact. It's still a good idea to swap them out as there are multiple reports of it helping, but unfortunately it's not a silver bullet. 

    You of course bring up other issues, but I just wanted to jump in to clarify on this point.

    "Smurfing is a tough one—I've worked on a few games that struggled with it. I think it's one of those things that gets worse over time, as the "median skill" of players who've been around a while goes up. We actually already do some stuff to detect smurfs after a few games and put them with less new players, but I can imagine us putting more resources toward this problem if it keeps becoming worse."

        @Gabrielmojo26 I don't want to put words in his mouth, but I suspect he's referring to traffic there relative to other areas, not that it's dead/won't be updated.

        It last got updates last week.

      @EA_David Thank you for taking the time to reply.

      The whole CORE point of this thread, is that I wanted to address the DISCONNECTION issues, as those are the issues that are making it almost IMPOSSIBLE to play APEX.

        Im sure they alleeady given up on this game. 

        EA s next big baby is rolling out. Battlefield.

        And as it seams its not that awesome as expectet. Now every recouce will be pulled to save this project. 

        No space to care abaut such minor projects like apex..

      Smurfing is a violation of the TOS as is made clear due to the introduction of the report function. However since it has been more than a year since smurfing started to become rampant, it is also clear that EA/Respawn have no genuine concern for it. The TOS is in essence, an agreement between the developer and the user. I agree not to cheat and they agree to not allow cheaters. Based on that agreement I have, in good faith, paid money (over $400 US) toward services intended to enhance the game's aesthetics. I believe that EA/Respawn has violated that agreement by ignoring smurfing. I believe users would be well within their right to explore charge-back proceedings.
