Is it just me....

No. Its not just you. Also on xbox one. 

1. I had that same problem.  I never start the resume the game when I first boot up. I always close it out first and reload. Solved/prevents the problem. 

2. Matchmaking in this game has officially * the bed. I'm decent as well and my stats have all been pillaged by matchmaking this season. I'm more commonly facing champions with 10k kills or more and getting lazered by sweats left and right. 

My damage per game is about the same if not a little higher than last season but my KPG and Win Rate have both dropped significantly from last season. How can my DPG stay the same but wins and kpg decrease? Because the better the player the more difficult it is to kill them even after putting out hundreds of damage on them. I've literally had 4 games this season with over a thousand damage and 0 or 1 kills to show for it. My knockdown ratio is higher than normal as well as top 5 placements but my win rate is down about 1.5% from normal. I can't explain it any other way than they * with SBMM and its not self correcting. 

3. Ranked doesnt matchmake on skill. Only uses rank to arrange lobbies. I was probably one of the guys stomping on bronzes and silvers in the past month. 

4. Random is random but yes it does happen to me and yes its hella frustrating. Especially when some no talent pre pubescent pissant ends you because RNG wasn't your friend. 

5. Matchmaking has always been *. Thats my official opinion after 9k games. 

6. Respawn and EA have neglected to due proper diligence on their server tick rate and their net code. Look up apex legends tick rate on YouTube. Sad thing is they will never address this issue. Been a literal part of the game sincd launch. Haven't even mentioned it.  They haven't even acknowledged it worse yet. 

God this game makes me so * toxic. Probably because its breaking my heart since I want to love it but I cant ignore the steaming pile of horse * it is 80% of the time.
