It was never a bannable offence as far as I know.
It's always been a grey area but from what I know no one has been banned because they used M&K.

It's been a gray area for a long time.
I cannot confirm anything but from what I know they didn't want people using it on console but from what I know it's fine I guess.
Been here from week one and never seen someone complain here about getting banned because he used a mouse and keyboard.
They also never made a statement about this if it's allowed or not. I just say it's at own risk because I cannot confirm anything. 😳

I think the solution is very simple just add one line to the terms and conditions that any use of third-party apps and/or devices are not allowed and monitoring is very simple, they can just look for repetitive input signals.
like if a player is using MNK on console then some of the input signals will be missing as this player will be able to move only in four directions, not the same as using a controller that allows for circular movement ( you know what I mean)

Same as Xim for Pc. They don't do nothing about people removing their recoil because their modded item allows it. Just like they allow strike packs they allow many things that should be a bannable offense.

Everything is a grey zone for them ...
M/K on consoles "lol greyzone" , famous streamer cheating/abusing "lol greyzone" , * controllers/strike pack "lol greyzone" , full apex teams with 30 000 frags matchmaked against solo normal players "lol greyzone"- 5 years ago@ZigoSid lol

So both of my xbox controllers are broken and I started searching the web. I found a controller I think I would like and they also allow for skin customization. Would any of these features be considered banable on xbox one?
Added Mod Features:

Akimbo Fire
Mimic Fire

Jump Shot

No one can tell you for sure. You may eat a ban for it, but 100 other people to not get ban for it, and vice versa, you may get a pass, while other to get banned.
The game in terms of cheating is a ..... show atm, and kinda been for long time.
I know a streamer who use both, MnK for early game looting and then switch on controller. He play on PC tho.
And i`m pretty sure he is using CronusZen/Max or whatever the name is.
Atm there is so many people that increase their aim assist and pretty much have no recoil, which is impossible, even if you have 50k hours on this game. Unless you somehow be able to change physics.
But yet some people are saying its possible and believe that this people are fair. :D
I need like 5 minutes to watch some of the so call "pros" and their shooting, and that just send me away from the game for good.
Sometimes back there was a Fortnite streamer/pro that get caught or was snitched by someone, and the guy get banned for using macros. And what he did after that, was pretty much say that everyone on the top scene is pretty much cheating/using macros. :D
Somehow Apex is the only game somehow, that "no one" is using macros from the top scene, and no one is getting exposed/banned.
On Warzone banns are flying, and old players are saying its a cheat show and most top streamers are cheating/using macros, or modded controllers.
The funny part is they think the so call macros for no-recoil and other stuff are not cheat, but somehow their proud that they have this, and its like their "secret" config .....
