Is ranked better to learn or pubs?

I have been playing mostly pubs so far,but today i played ranked, and i really enjoyed it i am gold 3. I really want to be as good at the game as possible,as fast as possible and i wanna stay good, but i don't know what option is best for that. Should i play duos?trios? should i play with the same people? does it really matter? please give thought on this, and thank you.

  • I don't think it really matters what mode you play. As long as you are getting stuck in, getting into gunfights, working with your team, etc, you'll keep on learning and improving your skills. To improve your chances of winning, yes, you should get a friend or two together to learn each other's strengths and play styles. But playing with randoms is enough, and the more you play with them the more you learn to work with them (or at least tolerate them).

  • I think ranked is better balanced in lower leagues.

At this moment something is broken in pubs matchmaking system.

Just try everything... you are getting better by playing game.

I don't think you can get better "faster" if you play ONLY with pre-made squad, or only with randoms.

Duos, or Trios also doesn't matter.

  • Ranked is good until you reach Platinum, that's when you start seeing the worst side of matchmaking. Basically you can be in the same lobby with Diamond or even higher ranks players so it will be really unbalanced. But matchmaking is an issue on all game modes so there's not a better option imho. Personally i stopped playing ranked and for some weeks i've been playing mainly trios and landing in hot zones trying to have some fun.

  • @Heroki2d If you want to make high rank focus on trios and ranked. When you get paired with a good player (look for diamond and pred trails). Send them a friend request and see if they will go into the firing range with you and spar.

Duos is fun, but it’s a lot easier than trios and ranked.
