It’s time to accept Arenas is a dead mode

If Respawn has no plans of bringing content for this mode then why is it still a permanent mode? The last content released for arenas was March 29th, 2022.  Respawn has been pumping out maps and cont...

    Season 16. I would suggest playing arenas this season before the next season drops.

Speak for yourself, lol. I have tons of fun there, and I only play solo. Run into great teammates, and the matchmaking has been way better than for BR. Instead of a lobby with one team that obviously doesn't belong there that can wipe all of the teams effortlessly, I get pretty even matches, even when going up against a premade on the other side. Maybe there are more people playing arenas than you think? It's kind of ingenuous to believe that out of the 400,000 players on Steam, only 1,000 enjoy arenas, right?

@LaughingSharko I'm all for them keeping areas as 1 option for a mode. The issue is it is currently 2 modes.

As for the data showing the mode it isn't popular, these are reasons people think this-
1- People complain about being matched with and facing the same players over and over.
2- People complain about not finding games.
3- There have been no new maps for 2 seasons but maps keep being built for ltms. Why? Perhaps they have data saying it isn't worth it?

    @hayhor What people? A few forum posts? I'm sure the 500 people on the forums definitely reflect the entire player base.

    @LaughingSharko People on the forum and on reddit. It's extremely rare you see anyone talking up arenas.

    As for the ltms remaining ltms they've actually said the focus is BR. But just a month ago when Control (3rd time) and Gun Run (2nd time) came back they had new maps. Arenas has not had a new map added since the update on October 12th, 2021.

    Again, I don't want it deleted, I just want it limited to 1 mode so other modes can become permanent.
